What is MailWise?
MailWise is AI email automation from Cogniquest for teams that run on shared service mailboxes. Its agents read, classify, draft and route every customer email, attachments included, while you keep the thresholds, the maker–checker approvals and the audit trail. It works in any industry and comes preconfigured for retail banking.
How does MailWise classify emails?
Each email gets one of your categories with a confidence score. Your own trained ML model and an LLM score it together, giving one category and one number that are fully explainable. Attachments such as cheques, KYC documents, mandates and statements are read and classified in their own queue.
Does MailWise reply to customers automatically?
Only where you allow it. High-confidence replies auto-send under thresholds you set per category, and the rest queue for maker–checker review. Replies are grounded in your resolved cases, product terms and system data, in your organization's tone.
Does MailWise create tickets in Jira or a service desk?
Yes. Each email can become a reply, a case assignment or a ticket raised in Jira or your service desk through APIs, with category, priority and SLA already set. Live dashboards show turnaround, ageing and escalation.
Which retail banking emails does MailWise handle out of the box?
Accounts and deposits, cards, payments and transactions, lending and servicing, disputes and fraud, and KYC and grievances. Every category is wired to a ticket with its own routing rule, priority, turnaround clock and queue, so nothing sits unowned in a shared mailbox.
How is MailWise governed and secured?
Every classification and edit is logged with the reviewer, timestamp, reason and model version. Sensitive categories can require maker–checker. Access uses four-tier role-based control and SSO or OAuth 2.0, with encryption in transit and at rest. Reviewer feedback retrains the model on your own mail.
